Love is a SIN ?? o_O

"How could you do this to us ? ..we have given you life, cared for you for all these years,catered to your every whim and fancy..how could you !! "- Cliche' dialog ; Every Malayalam movie. This is the dialog dramatically uttered by the parent in a so called 'love story'. Growing up watching these movies which contained these kinda scenarios, i went 'he he' . As i got older i realized that these were not just movie dialogs. These were real life situations. These dramatic utterances were soaked in despair , anguish and disappointment. The turbulence of emotions that the parent goes through wen they find that their son/daughter is in love . Is being in love a sin ? I understand that they are wiser than us, they have decades of life experience to back it up . What do we have ? This heaven of a feeling that makes us believe that we are closer to god . But then don't we have the right to be heard ? I'm pretty sure that most of us have had to go through ' sit- down - get- yelled -at ' event when that happens. To us they might be over reacting . But then again , what would i know about parenting ? But i can definitely lent my voice to the other side . I think the new generation is smarter . They seem to be much more mature in the pursuit of their mate. They take a calculated decision . The Personality matters a lot .Its the most important one . They make sure that they don't end up in a loveless marriage . The make sure that they don't end up with a psycho bitch or a douchebag . The parents might have taken care of their kids for about 1/4 of their life. But they have 3/4 of the life reaming .They have the major events of their lives left. Don't they have the right to decide who they spend their life with ? Parents seek an attractive , employed groom who's financially secure . Something is wrong with this picture . They missed out personality, character!! Something the girl or guy finds out when its too late. But what can they do now. Its all done with and the parent of the either side would try to convince the wedded to hang in there . Time will bring love they say . Yes . It would have .Back when life used to be black and white . Back when your parents got married . In the 21st century , if a guy cant find a soul mate, if he opts to find a bride through arranged marriage .Well..it makes me wonder. What is wrong with him ? Is he such a bad person ? Is he a Momma's boy ? Has lost his faith in love ? Is he gay ?? . Don't know. But i know this , spending your life with the wrong person can get you to Heaven..why ? ..Cos you have already been through Hell .. Good Luck People .Hope you find the one you are meant to be with . and heres something to think about ..Is it the insecurities that drive parents into being such controlling angels ?..must ponder on it ..;)
